AKB stands for Aluminum Core Pipe. This pipe is enclosed in a 100% diffusion-tight 5-layer pipe with an inner and outer layer made of the plastic PE-RT. This pipe is ideal for use in underfloor heating systems and radiator connections.
An aluminum core pipe is a 100% diffusion-tight 5-layer pipe with an inner and outer layer made of PE-RT. In between is a longitudinally welded aluminum layer with special bonding layers for optimal adhesion between plastic and metal. An ideal aluminum core pipe for underfloor heating and radiator connections. The pipe has a maximum operating temperature of 95 °C (short-term 110 °C) and a maximum operating pressure of 12 bar.
