what is PCM?
PCM stands for Phase Change Materials. The most well-known form of PCM is water. Water freezes at 0°C and becomes ice, and changes into vapor when it boils. Our PCM is a salt hydrate that uses the phase change to store and release heat. By creating a specific composition, the material is ‘programmed’ to a desired temperature. For homes, we use a melting point of 26°C. By programming the PCM at this temperature, it ensures a constant room temperature of approximately 21°C.
