PE-RT pipe, also known as ‘Polyethylene of Raised Temperature’ pipe, is a durable heating pipe ideal for underfloor heating. It is made by heating polyethylene raw material, causing the molecules to bond strongly. This results in a pipe that is strong, oxygen diffusion resistant (DIN 4726), highly flexible, easy to handle, and has excellent creep resistance. Additionally, the material complies with the most common drinking water standards.
The SST PE-RT pipe is a 5-layer pipe with an oxygen-tight EVOH layer and is highly suitable for underfloor heating applications. All SST PE-RT pipes carry the KIWA/KOMO certification K87 485/01 (BRL 5602 and 5607) and are oxygen-tight according to DIN4726 and ISO17445.
